East Region

The MCE East Region regional office is located at the Wye Research and Education Center (WREC) in Queenstown, Maryland. This regional office supports county extension offices located both on Maryland's Eastern Shore and in Central Maryland. The regional office is staffed by Specialists providing educational and other outreach services regarding water quality and agronomy, commercial horticulture, forestry and wildlife management, and fruit/vegetable crops.

Women of Ag
The Historical Society of Talbot County will be featuring an exhibit this summer titled “Voices of American Farm Women”. The exhibit will be on display July 12 – August 9, 2008. During the exhibit there will be seminars about farm women and agriculture production. Our very own "Women of Ag" Shannon Dill, Jenny Rhodes and Laura Hunsberger will be featured as speakers. - posted Jul 25, 2008
